What will it do? -This workshop helps people to build their influence with others. It helps people to understand that influence is important and that influence needs to be developed. It helps people to understand what they can give to people instead of just expecting that people will respond to them favourably. This workshop includes:

Who is this for? - This workshop is for staff and managers who understand the need to have people respond to them favourably without the need or ability to use their position. Some people are particularly good at getting others to do what they want them to do, but many people encounter a much greater resistance. This is because they have no influence.

Pre-workshop work - It would be helpful for the participants to reflect on those people in the organisation who carry influence beyond their authority and consider why this is the case.
