What will it do? - This workshop will help the participants to understand the range of emotional intelligences (EI) that contribute to effective management and leadership. Research tells us that two thirds of a manager's effectiveness stems from their emotional competencies so it is important to understand which competencies need attention. Each participant conducts an EI self assessment so they know which aspects are relevant for them. The workshop gives strategies for EI development for all the different emotional competencies. Who is this for? - This workshop is designed for all managers who have a focus on building interpersonal connections with the stakeholders of their organisation. Although that potentially covers all managers, the workshop is particularly relevant for those who are prepared to make personal changes to achieve that result. This is because emotional Intelligence development requires reflection, feedback and the trial of new behaviours. Pre-workshop work - It is helpful for the participants to receive feedback about their EI from their peers or team before the workshop. We can send an EI assessment beforehand or arrange for it to be done on-line by the team.
