What will it do? - This workshop will help individuals communicate more easily throughout an organisation. It focuses on both the organisation's communication systems and its communication climate. It will give the participants clear strategies to facilitate the smooth flow of information and cooperation between the various functions of the organisation. The workshop includes:
  • Using formal and informal communication channels
  • Creating an influence structure
  • Downward, upward and side-ward communication
  • Identifying communication obstacles and solutions
  • Communicating key organisational information
  • Overcoming organisational silos
  • Developing a supportive communication climate
  • Developing 2 way communication systems throughout the organisation

Who is this for? - This workshop is designed for those managers in the organisation who can influence the systems in the organisation. Effective changes that result from this workshop need to be made by middle or senior managers who can recommend or install new communication practices and styles.

Pre-workshop work - The only preparation that the participant needs to do is to bring a copy of the current organisational chart, with as much detail as is available.
